This class is for those who have some math competition experience and a solid base in algebra and geometry. This course goes over some basic concepts for math competitions quickly but then proceeds to more advanced topics and concepts commonly found in math competitions. The problems explored in this course are generally harder problems in MATHCOUNTS and AMC 8 as well as some past AMC 10/12 problems. This course would be useful for those who have competition experience and aspire to qualify for AIME. We will be giving homework for this class. We expect all students to try their best on the homework and send in a picture of their work to [email protected]. We will go over homework at the beginning of each class and send out solutions.
