The Introduction to Programming course is directed towards those with little to no experience programming. We will be covering Python from the beginning, from setting up the development environment, to variables, input/output, modules, etc. There will be a focus on practical applications of Python, such as application development, data science, and etc. A more detailed agenda will be released on the first class.

The first class will cover the structure of our class, setting up the Python development environment, background information for Python and programming languages, and time permitting, the classic Hello World program.

After the first class, expect a good amount of homework. Practice is imperative if one wishes to learning a programming language. Homework will be due by the next class, when we will go over the answers.
